family.

Here are some out takes of my beautiful sisters I found... from about 6 months ago. I love finding pictures, it's like finding presents under the tree on xmas.

So, I haven't been active in updating this blog.. how terrible of me.
I graduated June 19th, 2009 from Hallmark.. obv. Currently working on finding work. It's been a slow start; due to not actually owning a camera.
Anyhow, with all this free time on my hands I've finally been able to edit photos I've been sitting on for months.

This is Andy Bardon. He's a great guy, photographer, and model. One of a kind.
These shots were for the series I was working on. Portraits with fake mustaches; taken with the lovely 4x5 cameras.

The idea was to have the subject chose the stache that they were best suited for..
Andy chose Bad Cop... title doesn't suit him.. but, he definitely had fun with it.

I'll keep posting. You keep reading.
Goodnight to my friends.

Grand St.

Dan was kind enough to let me shoot him on the couch for my environmental portrait and such... which lead to me shooting this series of everybody with Dan on the couch. I was stoked everyone wanted a photo and I love how they turned out.

Art Historical Reference

Our last assignment given to us during Phase 2 was to recreate a work of art into a photograph. I went with an image from one of my favorite comic series ever written; FELL, drawn by my favorite artist Ben Templesmith (who is absolutely inspiring). Below is the original and my recreation. I was extremely excited to shoot this and very happy with the results.

Let me know your thoughts!!

Its been a while...

I need to catch up on life and editing as well.

This is my recent self portrait for phase II. Shot it with a 4x5, with bottom of lens plane kicked back. I love portraits taken by the 4x5.
