Miss Mints in studio.

I just bought Cayd a new winter jacket, so we jumped into the studio before she destroyed it. I shot with a beauty dish key light, a back light feathered and a soft box as a reflector. Very high key shots and edited to slightly over expose. I may use one of these as a christmas card.

Lemon-lime.

I went back into the studio over the week and played around with glass again. Worked with the white back round and again with black. Black is most definitely my favorite.

You agree?

Still life.

Isn't this legit a beautiful apple?

I'll be back in the studio I'm sure. I could do a lot more with a still life. Although I am pretty okay with the way this came out. Pleased actually.

Lighting Glassware.

I have to say..
I am seriously loving commercial studio. I'm going back in tomorrow during school for my Still Life shoot and then again tomorrow night for more glass shots in digital

twenty years of sadness

Meaning I was 5 when SP first came together and made a band. Insane to think about.
These are my favorite b&w shots from the show.

Its super late. Sweet dreams.

Do what you got to do, say what you got to say.

I was in Boston last night for hours, due to the wonderfully talented Smashing Pumpkins playing at the Wang Theater. I stood out side for about 3 hrs. to see them come out and blew a shot of a life time. Terrible. Anyhow, while waiting, I took a ton of photos of the streets and all. Meanwhile it was raining on and off all night. Which meant awesome shots and getting soaked.

These are a handful of my favorites. I will be posting some shots of the band soon, so check them out too!
Hope your weekend rocked n'stuff.

Inspiration. Self Projects.

I've had blast editing and going through this shoot. Its all experimental and for me only.. [well hoping others will also enjoy them too of course.] For me; as in non-assignment, to stay creative and in love with photography. These five are definitely my favorites.

I miss yellow lines in my road..

Caleb, Kristen and I were on road trip adventure to find a Starbucks in Keene NH.. apon getting silly lost we found this wicked awesome/sketchy location.

wicked creepy. right?

We also found another amazing place.. that was even more sketch so, we opted on coming back on a non-rainy/cloudy day.. preferably when the sun is up and super bright.
In all seriousness I can't wait to get back there.

New York.

A couple weeks ago, Hallmark [hip] took a school trip to the Photo Expo. in NY. [Which was insanely huge and full of amazing cameras, lights, and what have yous.] Anywho, these are some of my favorites from wandering the streets with friends after the expo...

On the side of the street.

Scanned Images

These two are from Commercial studio. Shot with a 4x5 camera with 100 ISO [daylight film]. I love commercial studio.

Phase One: Self Portrait

I figure the best way to start this off is with me.
